No. wwjd.family is an independent project inspired by Catholic Social Doctrine, specifically the 5 Fundamenta from Pope Leo XIV's Magnifica Humanitas (signed May 15, released May 25, 2026). It is not endorsed by or affiliated with the Vatican, any diocese, or any official Church body.

What AI platforms does this work with?

The values prompt works with any AI that accepts text input. We provide specific setup instructions for ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. For other platforms (Meta AI, Grok, TikTok AI, Pi, DeepSeek, Mistral), paste your bracelet at the start of each new chat.

Is this Catholic or broadly Christian?

The 5 Fundamenta (Dignity, Truth, Common Good, Justice, Peace) come from Catholic Social Doctrine but express values shared across Christian traditions. The WWJD framing is broadly evangelical in origin. We think of this as 'Catholic roots, Christian branches.'

Does this replace prayer or talking to parents?

No. AI is a thinking tool, not a spiritual guide or substitute for human relationships. The bracelet reminds AI to respect your values — it doesn't replace prayer, parents, pastors, or your own conscience. For big decisions, talk to people who know and love you.

wwjd.family is designed for teens (13-19). Platform age policies vary: ChatGPT and Gemini may require parental consent for users 13-18; Claude.ai is 18+. Parents should review their AI platform settings and use appropriate supervision for younger teens.

What about TikTok AI, Pi, DeepSeek, Mistral, or others?

Use paste-each-time. Start any new chat by pasting your bracelet as the first message. It works everywhere, on any AI, with any account.

Your values prompt works two ways. Set it once in your AI's settings, or paste it at the start of every chat. Both work. Here's how.

Set it once

Once set, your bracelet is ready for every new chat.

How to set it up

Open ChatGPT and sign in.
Tap your profile picture or account menu (usually top-right on web, bottom-left on the app).
Look for Settings.
Find Personalization or Custom Instructions.
Make sure the toggle is on.
Paste your bracelet into the "How would you like ChatGPT to respond?" field.
Save your changes.

ChatGPT is available to users 13+ with parental consent for 13-17.

If you don't see this option

If you don't see Custom Instructions: update the app, make sure you're signed in, check that customization is toggled on, or ask a parent if your account is linked to theirs. School-managed accounts may have this feature disabled. Some regions may not have this feature yet.

Why isn't my AI here?

Meta AI

Meta AI (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger) doesn't have a persistent setup option. Use the paste-each-time method above.

Grok

Grok's setup varies between standalone and X-integrated versions. We're not covering it in v1. The paste-each-time method still works.

Others

TikTok AI, Pi, DeepSeek, Mistral, and others — use paste-each-time. It works everywhere.
